Mitch was formally educated in New York, where he grew up and spent the first 30 something years of his life before moving to the Washington DC area. His academic achievements include an undergraduate degree in Biology and Italian from SUNY Binghamton, (NY); a substantially completed a Masterâs Thesis on HIV at Long Island University (NY) (did not formally graduate); and a JD from Brooklyn Law School (NY).
Mich's professional career outside of academia includes working in the health care industry for almost 20 years, as a bench technologist, research scientist, teacher, contract manager, patent attorney, patent examiner and patent analyst.
Outside of work, Mich is an avid outdoorsman and enjoy all that goes along with the outdoors: hiking, boating, animals, and all types of weather. He is also a devoted listener of country music. He canât say that he is a cowboy, but he does like to two step.
